The oratory


It stands at the chapel south in front of the calvary. Dedicated to Saint John, it was buit up in the first half of the 15th century. On the three sides, when th emoving panels are removed, the celebration satnding inside can be easily followed by the people outside like for the "pardon", for example.

The panellings on the vaulted ceiling are painted too with sceneries of Saint Noyale life .

 

Saint Noyale

In the receses of the reredos were placed two statues :

- An odd one of Sainte Noyale kneeling holding her head in her hands.
- And a Virgin with Child dated from the 15th century but unhappily stolen few years ago.

Small figures decorating the stringpiece.

This oratory was classified as an historical monument since May the 19th 1965.
